15-10-06

With our Weekly routine training session we should have been due a session. But due to InMo having a strict deadline for his extended essay [worth ALOT in his whole course] today it wasn't best for him to venture out in his parents eyes [no matter how much he wanted to].

Bloo also had work to do so we saw it best to cancel the weekly session for today. The day didn't get away with no training though. Some general strength training was done at home.

Also in the past week and the week to come; Bloo and InMo [as well as Torn] have been doing some tree training during college lunch breaks as their are some decent trees on site, which allows you to get away without any marks apart from the very rare 'oooh oooh monkey' comments from passing girls. This training also included some Ong Bak style [minus the OTT violence] tree races, with each person racing to recieve the Tee Shirt at the top.

Nevertheless, we'll be back into routine next week, don't you worry.

Bloo and InMo started here with some tree training; laches, climbing etc. and were soon joined by Colexus.
Unfortunately at this early point in the day, InMo ripped open a calouse, due to soft skin and Bloo ripped a calouse off on a knotch of a branch. After plastering up, training continued.

Bloo: 5" [slight incline]
Catpass training with restricted run up was next, paying particular detail to landings, including bare foot training to help analyse landing techniques.
Turn Vault and endurance training. Drilling consecutive turn vaults on both sides [right + left], to work on endurance and adaptability.

Bloo then proceeded in continueing the laches down the line to the end of the scaffolding to complete 4 laches in total. On the fifth, however; he tried with minimal swing, but a bit too minimal resulting in him only reaching his fingertips to the bar and falling to the floor. Cut knee, Cut hand, Bashed elbow. After cleaning wounds and taping up, training continued.
The rest of the day proceeded with some basic wall climb and armjump climb up techniques, catpass distance training
catpass measurement [from obstacle to toes]:

They then moved up to the top of the carpark to practise pop vaults and further catpasses and landings, with some bare foot training included.
